Often made to poor or unknown standards with no testing or documentation. Why is this important. Because poor cats melt and fail. We have seen numerous cases now where small low volume catalytic converters have melded. And as a result, blocking the exhaust, leading to engine failure.
This is a well know issue on high performance Jaguar cars, especially those with tuning and performance upgrades. It is really important to understand the quality of the parts being fitted to your Jaguar.
